Jesus applies different methods of teaching, paradoxes, metaphors, and parables. He often focused on the Kingdom (or Heavenly Kingdom). The most famous is the Sermon on the Mount, which mentions the Eight True Beatitudes. Among Jesus’ parables, the best are two: the Good Samaritan and the Prodigal Son. Jesus had many disciples, the closest being the twelve apostles (or apostles), Peter was considered the chief apostle by the Roman Catholic Church. According to the New Testament, Jesus performed many miracles such as healing, expelling evil spirits and bringing a man named Lazarus back to life when he died.
The Jewish leadership consisted of opposing powerful groups like the Sadducee and the Pharisees who often disagreed with Jesus. He often debunked the Pharisee’s hypocrisy and formality. Many viewed Jesus as a social reformer, others were enthusiastic about believing that he was a king who came to free the Jews from the rule of the Roman Empire, while the authorities viewed Jesus. as a new force that is threatening contemporary political and religious institutions. Many people believe that Jesus is the “Savior” (Messie, Messiah) coming to redeem humanity.
